PayPal orders not updated or have an 'Incomplete' status.
This article applies only to PayPal users who have enabled the IPN feature in PDAdmin.
If you experience scenarios where you receive a Payment notification from PayPal, but you never receive a notification from PDshop OR you later find the order in PDshop with a status of 'Incomplete'... this can indicate a communication problem between your server and PayPal.
When the payment clears, PayPal will contact your web server and PDshop will communicate back with PayPal via your server's MSXML component (the one that you selected on the Server Objects page in PDAdmin, or specified in your setup.asp file). Make sure you are using the correct component.
*** Another possibility is a problem with your server's Email component (the one you selected on the Email setup page in PDAdmin).
A failure with either of those components would cause the above scenario.
If you are unable to isolate the problem, you should contact your web host to troubleshoot this further (as they can check server web logs and event logs for specific server errors).
