How to fix the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object error" message
Sample Error
You may see message like "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Solution or Workaround
This message can mean there is a very basic installation problem, you may have missed an important step. OR you are using an older revision/download and need to update your copy.
If this is a new installation, go over the Installation guides again from the beginning. This may be an issue with your web.config file (it may be missing some basic information, such as the "system.web" keys), or some other issue related to how/where you uploaded the PDshop .Net files.
If this is NOT a new installation, and the error just started to occur, you should first check for updates, and download the latest revision of PDshop and install as an update/upgrade.
