Unable to activate PDshop - No Available Licenses
Sample Error
We could not locate an available license. You may have already activated your copy of PDshop, please contact us for assistance if you need to re-activate, or visit our site to purchase an additional license.
Solution or Workaround
If you have already installed and activated PDshop, this message indicates that you are attempting to activate an additional copy of PDshop. If you are re-activating, you must use the same URL/Domain as before. If you are installing a new copy of PDshop, or a 2nd development copy an additional license must be purchased (as each copy of PDshop requires a license).
To purchase additional licenses, simply login to your Account (click on My Account).
DEVELOPER NOTES:
PDshop has a built in development mode, so that web developers can setup additional copies for testing. PDshop will self-activate (without the need for an additional license), when you install it on a local network or your PC with IIS (Internet Information Server), or if you use an IP address instead of a domain name on your remote server.
PDshop will not require activation if the URL you use meets any of the following:
1. The domain is “localhost”, ie your URL starts with: http://localhost/.
2. The URL is an IP Address.
3. The URL is a Local Area Network server or computer name, ie http://aserver/ or http://acomputer/.
To purchase additional licenses, simply login to your Account (click on My Account).
