Google Product Search (Google Base) Data Feed changes Summer 2011
Recently Google announced some significant new Product Feed requirements. The .Net Professional Edition (Version 9) of PDshop has been updated to include the new required attributes. If you use Google Base, we strongly recommend that you update your copy of PDshop to the latest revision of Version 9 before Sept 22, 2011. After this date, Google may stop accepting your uploaded feeds.
PDshop version 9.012* will include the following attributes:
Basic Product Information:
id
title
description
google_product_category
product_type
link
image_link
price
condition
availability
brand
gtin
mpn
online_only
Product Variants and Apparels:
item_group_id
color
material
pattern
size
gender
age_group
Optional PDshop fields (which can be used i place of any above):
custom1
custom2
custom3
**9.012 might not be available yet, however it will be released shortly**
For new "Tax & Shipping" requirements, please use your Google Merchant Center settings. Additional attributes may be added at a later time.
If you are using an earlier edition of PDshop, Version 2-8, you may need to edit your Feed file using Excel before uploading. We recommend upgrading to the .Net Professional Edition (Version 9) for a fully automated feed.
