What is a cookie and How to enable 'Cookies'.
What is a Cookie?
A Cookie is a small text file that Microsoft web servers send to your web browser.  PDshop/PDAdmin use 'temporary' session cookies to store login & ID information.  Your browser saves this file temporarily to your computer hard drive or device storage.  These temporary cookies are a secure and safe way of storing temporary data and can only be read by the web server that created them.  Microsoft web servers use cookies to identify your connection, so you do not need to enter the same information repeatedly.  When you close your browser, the temporary cookie is deleted.

How to Enable cookies:

Internet Explorer:
On the top menu bar, click "Tools" then click "Internet Options".  Next, click on the "Privacy" tab.  Be sure either the Medium or Low security level is selected. The High security level will not work since it does not allow cookies.

If you have selected the "Advanced" security level, click on the Custom Level button and scroll down to where it says Cookies and make sure that "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" and both enabled.

How to enable cookies in Google Chrome:
Open Chrome.
At the top right, click More and then Settings.
At the bottom, click Advanced.
Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
Click Cookies.

From here, you can:
Turn on cookies: Next to "Blocked," turn on the switch.
If cookies are enabled, it will say "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" and the switch will be on.
