Configuring PDshop & Authorize.net's AIM
Sample Error
This transaction cannot be accepted.
Solution or Workaround
There are two areas you need to setup in order to use Authorize.net.
1. In PDadmin, under "General", you must first enable "payment processing via gateway" and, depending on what version you are using, enable "credit cards". Next, setup/edit the credit card names you want to accept. Finally, on the "Gateways" page you need to enable the Authorize.net gateway, entering your login information and password or transaction key (whichever you choose to use).
2. Next, in your Authorize.net Control panel you would need to setup your preferences. Here are a few recommended settings.
Under Transaction Response:
Transaction Version 3.1
Response/Receipt URLs (blank or set to defaults)
Relay Response (blank)
Silent Post URL (blank)
Direct Response (Delimited Response = Yes, Field Separator="|", Field Encapsulation=blank)
Under Security:
MD5 Hash (leave blank)
ERRORS:
The 'Transaction cannot be accepted' message usually indicates a configuration problem. Check all of your settings as well as password, transaction key, and account information in both PDAdmin & the Authorize.net control panel. If you are using a transaction key, make sure it has not expired (you may need to generate a new one, using your Authorize.net control panel)
